Version 3.25 Now Available

Approximatrix is happy to announce the release of Simply Fortran 3.25. This latest version incorporates numerous bug fixes to the development environment, a new compiler version on macOS and Windows, and drastic speed improvements to specific math functions on Windows.

Simply Fortran 3.24 Released

Version 3.24 of Simply Fortran is now available from Approximatrix. The latest release fixes a number of minor issues with the development environment and incorporates some incremental enhancements requested by users. A crash that could be caused by searching the current tab from the toolbar's search box has been corrected. Default monospace fonts on Windows and macOS now default to Consolas and Menlo respectively in an attempt to better match expected platform fonts. Source...

64-bit ARM Packages Now Available for GNU/Linux

With Raspberry Pi OS now offering an official 64-bit distribution, we have released our first Simply Fortran builds targeting GNU/Linux on 64-bit ARM systems. The AppImage and Debian packages, available on our Download page, were built and packaged using Debian 11 as a base. These offerings are designed to work not only on 64-bit Raspberry Pi systems, but also on other high-performance ARM platforms running GNU/Linux.

Simply Fortran 3.23 Now Available

Approximatrix is happy to announce the availability of Simply Fortran version 3.23 for all supported platforms. The new release incorporates numerous bug fixes, cosmetic improvements, and new features. A new option was introduced to allow Simply Fortran to better manage project makefiles.
