Simply Fortran 3.1 Released

Approximatrix is happy to announce the release of version 3.1 of Simply Fortran, introducing improvements and bug fixes to the development environment and included tools. The version control feature was updated with "Refresh" menu items to force Simply Fortran to update its user interface when the version control status of project files is out of sync with the file system. Simply Fortran Version 3.0 Has Arrived

Approximatrix is happy to announce version 3.0 of Simply Fortran, the first major release since 2013. Version 3.0 brings major feature additions and usability improvements to the integrated development environment on all platforms.

Bug Fixes Available for GNU/Linux and macOS

New builds are now available for macOS and GNU/Linux that address several issues reported by users. Issues assigning a library or include directory to the same directory as a project have been resolved. Single executable file distributions using AppImage technology should now work better on most systems where theming or, more generally, the entire window of Simply Fortran would not appear properly. Bug Fixes for Simply Fortran 2.41

New builds of Simply Fortran version 2.41 are now available from Approximatrix that fix a number of issues reported with the previous release. Notably, a number of minor memory violations have been corrected that may have caused intermittent crashes on all platforms.
