Version 2.21 Released!
Posted on Feb. 12, 2015
Simply Fortran 2.21 is now available from Approximatrix. The latest version introduces a number of new features to the development environment and fixes some minor bugs reported by users. The integrated development environment now supports adding bookmarks to editor tabs for quick navigation within the tab during an editing session. Searching for text within projects now allows users to match case, search only for whole words, or use regular expressions when specifying a search term. Named common blocks will now appear in autocomplete lists while editing Fortran when appropriate. When text is selected in the editor, the option to select all matching occurrences of the selection simultaneously in the current file has been added. This feature should allow, for example, rapidly modifying a recurring variable name in a single file. Possible crashes under WINE when starting up have been eliminated. Quick search in the toolbar has been improved in regards to both speed and reliability. Named colors in the AppGraphics library under Fortran have been corrected. Copy and paste functions under Fortran in AppGraphics are now working properly. The latest version is available now on the Download page. Users wishing to register their installation can visit the Registration page to enable all features once the thirty day free trial has expired.
