Introducing the SF Package Manager

Posted on April 5, 2013

Sometimes building Fortran libraries on Windows can be tedious. Responding to the requests of multiple users, Approximatrix is happy to announce the SF Package Manager. The SF Package Manager allows users to download prebuilt Fortran libraries, which will integrate directly and automatically with the Simply Fortran integrated development environment. The list of packages available at the moment may be small, but new packages will be regularly added. Users can request packages directly at the Approximatrix forums.

Approximatrix is currently working on a free trial concept. For now, though, if you see some packages you like, consider registering for an account to seamlessly install development libraries for use with Simply Fortran.
