Bug Fixes Available for GNU/Linux and macOS

Posted on July 25, 2018

New builds are now available for macOS and GNU/Linux that address several issues reported by users. Issues assigning a library or include directory to the same directory as a project have been resolved. Single executable file distributions using AppImage technology should now work better on most systems where theming or, more generally, the entire window of Simply Fortran would not appear properly. The single executables now display properly on Linux Mint and other distributions. The static library tool shipped with Simply Fortran for macOS has been removed, and the build system will now rely on the system's archive utility for building static libraries properly.

The updated builds are available on the Download page for all users. If any problems are encountered, please let use know via email or forums.
