Bug Fixes for Simply Fortran 2.41
Posted on March 1, 2018
New builds of Simply Fortran version 2.41 are now available from Approximatrix that fix a number of issues reported with the previous release. Notably, a number of minor memory violations have been corrected that may have caused intermittent crashes on all platforms. A circumstance where the development environment could crash on macOS and GNU/Linux after the Console tab is closed has been mitigated. Internal tab handling and tracking robustness has been improved, which should eliminate crashes due to inconsistencies between actual tabs visible and tabs assumed to exist by background processes. Users are encourages to upgrade to the latest build to ensure development reliability on all platforms.
